Words like otaku, kawaii, manga, cosplay, sushi, zen, karate, bonsai, ramen, and so many more have sublimated into cultures around the world. Our goal is to unite people from across the globe by creating something greater than the sum of its parts that can be enjoyed the world over.

Overcoming barriers

Barriers like these are all too common. We've experienced them ourselves, and as fans of Japanese anime and games, we've felt that same frustration.
Our mission is to break down these barriers, not just through translation, but by providing cultural insight and practical support to our clients. We want everyone to fully enjoy Japanese content, no matter where they're from.
Working at Abracadabra
Localization Services
We undertake the translation of Japanese manga, game scenarios, websites, and other entertainment-related material. We offer translations into English, Chinese (both simplified and traditional), Korean, German, French, Italian, Thai, and more!
Global PR Services
We work with clients in Japan's entertainment industry who are looking to improve their inbound marketing strategies. By leveraging popular social media platforms throughout different language spheres, we help them share information globally and implement effective sales-boosting initiatives. As part of our support for international expansion, we also offer language training programs for client employees.
Support for Internationalization of Visual Novels
We provide services to support the expansion of visual novels originally created for Japan's domestic market into international markets through translation, development, publishing, and management.
Japan Tours and Experiences
We also both plan and provide subculture-themed experiences for international visitors to Japan, such as workshops for voice acting and cosplay. These programs can be held on-site at hotels or commercial facilities upon request. Sample programs: cosplay experience, otaku dance (wotagei) workshop, voice acting experience, oshi-katsu experience
